Digital Marketing Specialist, Polartec
POSITION OVERVIEW
This Digital Marketing Specialist role is responsible for supporting and maintaining Polartec’s digital platforms including website, color card, and future key digital initiatives. As a key member of the marketing team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the company to execute the digital components of marketing campaigns including webpage creation, editing and publishing; email campaign creation and distribution; site maintenance support and enhancements; analytics, CRM platforms, and related activities as needed. You are a technical-oriented marketer who is passionate about storytelling through content and creating an exceptional user experience.
This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Spartanburg, SC and offers a flexible mix of in-office and remote.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, edit and/or maintain web pages and sites on polartec.com to ensure maximum impact and effectiveness, and alignment with overall campaign objectives
Provide input on recommended approaches to page design and user experience
Quality check reviews for all digital components
Work closely with corporate marketing, divisional marketing, HR, and other key stakeholders to make requested web updates (bug fixes, minor updates, or new projects) as needed
Ensure content delivers a consistent Polartec look/feel/voice and maintain a content calendar to make regular updates to keep the site fresh with up-to-date information
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, links, and other areas to improve user journeys, conversion rates, and SEO; help to prioritize enhancements in backlog
Manage requests and help with overall campaign project management
Leverage analytics tools to improve website and other digital platforms performance and report on KPIs
Communicate effectively on project status, risks, and updates
Identify opportunities to leverage website for demand generation
Support site audits as needed
Help train other users on our digital tools to empower them to self-serve where possible
QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED
Associate degree required, Bachelors degree preferred (marketing-focused)
1-5 years of experience (formal or informal) managing website properties
Familiarity with programming languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Passionate about all things digital and creating a great user experience
Client orientation with a natural disposition towards collaboration
Ability to train others and provide processes/best practices
Strong analytic capabilities with the ability to leverage data to drive improvements
Familiarity with our current digital ecosystem tools a plus—Sitecore, Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, Highspot, Lionbridge, Google Analytics, Power BI, SEM Rush, Vimeo, and many others
