Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by regularly cleaning sinks, dish racks, counters, and floors to uphold health standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing ingredients when needed to support kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service hours.
- Help with light cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to promote a tidy environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is advantageous.
- Experience working in banquet settings or catering events can be a plus.
