Role Description The Account Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Cornelius, NC. This position is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for daily communications, inquiries, and issue resolution. The Account Representative will coordinate logistics services, monitor shipment status, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain up-to-date account information in internal systems. The role includes collaborating with operations and sales teams to support customer solutions, identifying opportunities to expand services, and preparing quotes or proposals when needed. Day-to-day activities also involve providing proactive customer updates, supporting onboarding and training for new accounts, and contributing to continuous improvement in customer experience and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong account management skills, including managing multiple customer relationships, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining accurate account records.
- Proven customer service capabilities with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and building long-term customer trust.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective collaboration with internal teams and customers.
- Sales awareness and skills to identify service expansion opportunities, support quoting, and contribute to revenue growth for assigned accounts.
- Experience providing training or guidance to customers or internal stakeholders on processes, tools, or service offerings.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments preferred.
- Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Office/ TMS Systems) and ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
