Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments and provide correct change
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient checkout service
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with questions, returns, and exchanges
- Restock shelves and assist with inventory as needed
- Follow all store policies and loss prevention procedures
- Assist customers with lottery transactions.
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficienct in using lottery terminal.
