Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems continuously to identify suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills and first aid knowledge when necessary.
- Enforce loss prevention measures by observing and deterring theft or vandalism activities.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to ensure swift resolution.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and first aid is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and experience with loss prevention techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with security procedures, including access control and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
