About This Opportunity
As an Operations Team Lead, you’ll assist in leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities for the assigned shift, including that all resources are assigned in a manner to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer service, and cost objectives.
Essential Functions

- Back up the Operations Supervisor in their absence.
- Ensure team members, including temporary employees, understand job instructions, safety requirements, and quality guidelines.
- Identify, document, and develop solution(s) to workflow problems and issues.
- Lead and coordinate all teams and/or activities for the shift to ensure safety, quality, customer expectations, and cost objectives are met.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
- Provide the Operations Supervisor with feedback on team member performance.
- Report customer service, employee safety, equipment, or facility issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Review daily team assignments to ensure that each team is staffed appropriately.
- Update and maintain the schedule to meet customer demand/expectation and/or any information tracking for reports and spreadsheets.
Skills and Abilities
- The ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
- The ability to fulfill the responsibilities of a physically demanding position – constant lifting.
- The ability to consistently lift up to 50 - 75lbs.
- The ability to team-lift up to 250 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible availability for overtime work.
