Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen referral relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical groups, hospital systems, and healthcare administrators throughout the assigned territory.
- Execute a minimum number of weekly in-person provider visits, referral touchpoints, and networking activities to drive consistent market growth.
- Identify and target new referral opportunities within primary care, cardiology, orthopedics, podiatry, wound care, vascular, pain management, and other strategic specialties.
- Organize and conduct lunch-and-learns, educational presentations, office in-services, community events, and provider meetings to educate referral sources on Miller Vein services and treatment offerings.
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, providers, and leadership teams to develop territory growth strategies and improve referral conversion performance.
- Monitor referral trends, provider activity, patient volumes, and market analytics to identify opportunities for expansion and increased market penetration.
- Maintain detailed records of provider interactions, referral activity, pipeline development, and follow-up within CRM systems and reporting tools.
- Ensure timely follow-up on referrals and maintain excellent communication between referring offices, patients, and internal teams to support a seamless patient experience.
- Represent Miller Vein at medical conferences, networking events, health fairs, chamber events, and professional association meetings.
- Assist in developing strategic partnerships and community outreach initiatives that increase brand visibility and patient access within the region.
- Maintain strong knowledge of venous disease treatments, procedures, insurance considerations, and industry trends to effectively communicate value to providers and patients.
Success in this role may be measured through:

- Referral conversion rates and patient scheduling outcomes
- Community event participation and relationship development
- CRM activity tracking and reporting consistency
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, communications, or related field preferred.
- Experience in healthcare sales, physician relations, medical marketing, or business development preferred.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining successful provider relationships and growing referral networks.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage physicians, administrators, and clinical staff professionally and confidently.
- Highly organized with strong time management and territory planning abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with CRM systems, referral tracking, and healthcare analytics preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare operations, and referral workflows strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory daily.
- Candidates must reside in or near the Grand Rapids/Holland area.
- Estimated Compensation: $70,000 annually based on experience
