Position Overview
Miller Tire & Service is seeking a dependable and hardworking Tire Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for mounting, balancing, repairing, rotating, and servicing passenger, light truck, commercial truck, agricultural, and trailer tires. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, repair, and rotate tires on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
- Perform tire inspections and identify wear patterns or potential safety concerns.
- Assist customers in selecting the right tires for their needs.
- Maintain accurate work orders and service documentation.
- Operate tire service equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform tire pressure checks and TPMS service when required.
- Assist with inventory organization and stocking.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous tire service experience preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy tires and wheels regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 75 pounds or more.
- Stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Work in varying weather conditions when servicing commercial and agricultural equipment.
