Job Summary
Miller’s Youth Sports - Bentonville Parkour is growing, and we are looking for another rockstar instructors who are passionate about teaching children and teens how to become their BEST self!
If you have experience in the following movement styles, keep reading below, because this job will be perfect for you: Gymnastics, Cheer, Tumbling, Martial Arts, Diving, or Rock Climbing.
Our Parkour Athletics programs offers fun and exciting classes to children in a few different age categories. We offer a satellite traveling program for 3-5 y/o that visits daycares, churches, rec centers, and schools. Our evening programs will mainly serve 3-12 y/o and teens! All new instructors will have the opportunity to get paid to train and learn our systems to impact the greater Bentonville community we serve!!
We are seeking passionate and skilled Athletics Instructors to join our dynamic team. We only hire the best! This role involves teaching students of all ages, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment. The instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans, managing class behavior, and ensuring the safety of all participants at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct engaging parkour athletics classes to students of various ages and skill levels
- Create and implement lesson plans that focus on skill development, technique, and discipline
- Attend promotional events in the community, schools, and at our facilities
- Organize and participate in events or competitions as needed
- Attend weekly 30 minute trainings to build culture and sharpen skills
- Manage rank testing insuring all students are ready for testing every 10 weeks
- Provide individualized attention to students to enhance their learning experience
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students and parents
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback/evaluations for positives as well as improvements
- Demonstrate techniques clearly and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Teach students about the history and philosophy of parkour athletics as well as its mindset
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive and safe environment
- Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is clean and safe for all participants.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings.
Requirements
- High energy and positive attitude
- Proven experience in instruction with expertise in disciplines such as Gymnastics, Cheer, Tumbling, Martial Arts, or Rock Climbing
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is preferred.
- Strong skills in classroom behavior management to effectively handle diverse classroom dynamics.
- Experience working with students of all ages, particularly children, is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Qualifications:
- Must have a clean criminal background and willing to pass a level 3 background check
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be 18-years or older
- Must have reliable personal transportation to get to our Bentonville location as well as travel to daycares no further than 10 miles from Bentonville Community Church - 220 NW A St, Bentonville, AR 72712
- Must be drug, vape, and tobacco free
- Must be coachable and willing to learn our professional systems/curriculum
- Must be detail oriented to focus on advancing our students
- Teaching experience is a plus for groups of 15
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents
- Ability to manage behavior and maintain discipline in a classroom setting
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Schedule currently. This will increase growth of our school and when our Rogers location opens in late May.
Monday-Friday 8am-1pm at daycares (3-5 y/o) in the Bentonville and surrounding areas
Mondays & Fridays 4:00pm-7:15pm
Saturday 8am-12pm once a month
