Responsibilities
- Operate concrete pump trucks and related machinery with precision, ensuring accurate placement of concrete according to project specifications.
- Set up and inspect equipment before each use, performing safety checks and routine maintenance to guarantee optimal performance.
- Coordinate with the construction crew to determine the best placement of concrete, adjusting operations as needed for efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding pumping schedules, site conditions, and safety protocols.
- Assist with other heavy equipment operations such as loader operation, excavator handling, or rebar installation when required.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Keep detailed records of daily operations, equipment maintenance, and site activities for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as concrete pumps, loaders, excavators, or dump trucks on construction sites.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with concrete mixing, pouring, forming, finishing, and paving techniques.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record preferred.
- Knowledge of rebar installation and concrete finishing processes is advantageous.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
