Role Overview
This position oversees a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring alignment between technical development, business priorities, and deployment timelines. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Execution
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software and quality engineers
- Set clear performance expectations and drive a culture of accountability and ownership
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development support
- Establish high standards for technical execution and delivery
Program & Delivery Management
- Own planning, prioritization, and execution of engineering initiatives
- Translate business objectives into actionable roadmaps and sprint plans
- Ensure timely delivery of production-ready, high-performance systems
- Identify risks early and remove blockers to maintain team velocity
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, hardware, and deployment teams to align on priorities and timelines

Quality & Operational Excellence
- Oversee quality and validation strategies for complex, real-time systems

Qualifications
- 5 years of experience leading technical teams in robotics, embedded systems, or similar environments
- Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering teams (software and QA)
- Strong understanding of real-time systems, control logic, and complex software architectures
- Experience working with systems-level programming languages (e.g., C or similar)
- Track record of delivering complex, production-grade systems in fast-paced settings
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies
