We are hiring a CDL Driver/Warehouse to coordinate construction material receiving, documentation, and storage; locate and issue job site material; and oversee delivery of materials to job sites and customer locations in Hyattsville, MD.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure all items are stored according to field work procedures and company standards.
- Prepare and maintain current inventory records for materials received, stored, issued and transferred off-site.
- Order materials and maintain stock material inventory, monitor minimum levels, and prepare purchase requisitions when stock is below minimum level.
- Make construction material deliveries to job sites and customer locations.
- Perform physical inventory against inventory control records to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect warehouse for cleanliness, etc.
- Perform data entry and recordkeeping duties as needed.
- Occasional operation of fork trucks.
Required Qualifications:
- 6 months material control/warehouse experience or related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Excellent organization and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in related field.
- 2 years of warehouse experience.
