Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and adaptable individual to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant. This is a "float" role, meaning you will assist both on the front desk (client service) and in the treatment area (patient care) as needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Greeting clients with professionalism and warmth
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing records
- Checking clients in/out and processing payments
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and patient handling
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Supporting both the reception and medical teams as needed
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of veterinary or animal care experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting
- Compassion for pets and their families
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible to float between roles based on the needs of the day
