What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer- Weekend Days position at Miller & Miller Investigative and Security?
Saturday & Sunday Day Shift (14 hours total)
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures, and contacting local law enforcement when necessary. Daily and incident report writing.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Must posses a Valid Florida Security Officer License Class D
- Must posses a valid Florida Security Officer License Class G
- Must not have been convicted of a felony
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to pass a standardized firearms proficiency course annually
- Must posses or be able to posses a F.S.S. 493 compliant firearm
- Prior Military or Law Enforcement preferred
- Previous experience is required to apply for this position.
- Skills- Must be able to interact with clients and patron on a daily basis
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- No offensive tattoos visible in uniform. No face, neck, or hand tattoos.
Pay: From $18.00 per year
