Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Arlington, TN, for a CNC Mill Programmer. The CNC Mill Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components. This role involves interpreting blueprints, performing machine adjustments, conducting quality inspections, and optimizing machining processes to ensure efficiency. Collaboration with team members to maintain schedules and meet production deadlines is an essential part of the job.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming, setup, and operation for CNC milling machines
- Skilled in interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications
- Knowledge of machining processes, tool path programming, and cutting parameters
- Experience with G-code programming and CAM software
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and machine diagnostic skills
- Understanding of quality assurance practices, including precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or associate degree in a related field is a plus
- Prior experience in a high-volume CNC machining environment is preferred
