The role of a Hydroblasting Operator & Technician at Miller Integrated Solutions requires a high level of proficiency in operating and troubleshooting hydroblasting equipment, vacuum trucks, and tank cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities include hydroblasting, tank cleaning, and pressure washing as needed, interpreting various instructions, and demonstrating the ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with customers and site managers, run multiple crews when required, and demonstrate a strong understanding of standard operating procedures.
This position involves working in a variety of settings, including industrial environments, and may require travel to customer sites and other locations within the Miller network.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid TWIC card, previous waste handling experience, preferably in an industrial setting, and a strong safety record.
We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual who is willing to work additional hours as required, can lift up to 50 pounds, and is capable of climbing towers, vessels, and tanks.
Key Deliverables:
- Hydroblasting and tank cleaning services
- Pressure washing as needed
- Effective communication with customers and site managers
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Familiarity with hydroblasting equipment and high-pressure systems
- Dependability and willingness to work additional hours as required
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures
- Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery
Work Environment:
- Exposed to all weather conditions
- Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels
- Confined spaces
- 12-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch breaks
- Overtime and emergency callouts as required
Physical Effort Required:
- Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 pounds
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Sitting, standing, walking, crawling, bending, squatting, and kneeling
Mechanical Skills:
- Operation and troubleshooting of hydroblasting, vacuum truck, and tank cleaning equipment
Education and Experience:
- Previous waste handling experience, preferably in an industrial setting
- Refinery experience
- Valid TWIC card
