Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying, and documenting all deliveries accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely to load and unload trucks, racks, etc, while ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Ensure proper packaging standards are followed for shipping items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist with cycle counts and stock audits to uphold inventory accuracy within warehouse distribution operations.
- Report to the Shipping and Receiving Manager
Job Requirements:
- Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures.
- Valid certification for forklift operation, reach truck, or pallet jack preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order quantities.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items, load/unload trucks, and stand for extended periods.
- Experience with order picking & packing in a distribution or production environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment and stock management.
Qualifications:
- Required - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Required - Forklift Certified
- Required - Passed Drug Test
- Required - Driver's License with clean record
- Preferred - Bilingual in English and Spanish
Pay based on experience
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
