Production Associate

Miller Foods, Inc. is a multi-generational family owned and operated food distributor and manufacturer locally established in Avon, CT. We want you to join our production team in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment.

DUTIES

• All facets of food production
• Ability to work in colder environments
• Inspect and ensure products maintains the highest level of quality throughout its production cycle
• Follow USDA/FDA plant procedures
• Communicate with production staff and plant manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 40 pounds
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Desire to work in a fast paced environment
• Experience in the food or manufacturing industry is helpful
• Flexibility in schedule

COMPENSATION AND HOURS

• Position: First Shift Production Associate
• Hours: 7:30 AM -- 4:30 PM (May require overtime)
• Wage: $14 -- 15/ hr (Depending on experience to start)
