We are a well established medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology practice in Issaquah with 1 MD, 1 PA, 1 Master Esthetician, and 1 Esthetician.

We need a smart, detail oriented Medical Assistant that works well with others in a busy environment. If your goal is to just take vital signs, room patients, and get medication lists, this IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU. But, if you'd like to do some cool stuff, we might be perfect.

Duties include:

• Assist in procedures including biopsies, incision and drainage, surgeries, botox, fillers, and a variety of laser treatments
• Sterile set up for in office biopsies, excision and Mohs procedures, instrument wrapping and sterilization
• Collect chief complaints and establish the agenda for clinic visits
• Scribe for clinic visits and procedures
• Provide patient education
• Schedule surgical and cosmetic procedures
• Complete prior authorizations for medications

Experience in dermatology is helpful, BUT, if you can absorb information quickly we can and will teach you everything you need to know about acne, skin cancer, psoriasis, botox, fillers, etc.

What is absolutely essential is the ability to learn quickly and work well in a team.

Job Type: 53 days each week, Monday through Friday. Typical shifts are 7:00 to 5:30.

Unless medically contraindicated, staff are expected to receive cosmetic procedures performed routinely in the clinic. Specifically, as long as you have not recently called out sick or been late for work, you may be offered no-cost botox, filler, laser, and other treatments.

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
