Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aggregate/Mining Supervisor to lead and oversee operations at our quarry and mining sites. This role is vital in ensuring safe, efficient, and productive extraction of materials while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate heavy equipment operations, manage team members, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Your expertise in construction, mechanical systems, and heavy machinery will drive operational excellence and contribute to the success of our mining projects.
Duties
- Supervise daily mining and aggregate extraction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Coordinate the operation of heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, water trucks, and aggregate machinery to optimize productivity.
- Oversee equipment installation, maintenance, and inspection processes related to mining operations.
- Monitor mechanical systems and perform troubleshooting or coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Lead construction activities including site preparation, and infrastructure development.
- Enforce OSHA & MSHA standards across all site activities to promote a safe work environment.
- Manage team scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for operators and labor personnel.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, safety incidents, and operational reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on site planning, pipeline routing, and project timelines.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site supervision or mining operations with a focus on aggregate extraction.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and plant operation.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of OSHA & MSHA safety standards and best practices for construction sites involving heavy machinery.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards under demanding conditions.

Pay: $35.00 - $47.00 per hour
