What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Services Administrator position at Miller Elementary?
Holliston's Fred Miller Elementary School (grades 3-5) is seeking a Student Services Administrator to join us in the 2026-27 school year. This professional will work as part of a strong Student Services team to provide proactive and responsive support and services to all students and families.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or higher, state certification as Administrator/Director (preferably special education)
- Massachusetts Educator License
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in special education
- Cultural responsiveness and a growth mindset with students, families, and staff are a must.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as effective problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, as well as the ability to be flexible and organized in a fast paced environment
- Knowledgeable and proficient with Federal/State laws and regulations and the IEP Team meeting process.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate educators and paraprofessionals
- Oversee Special Education and Guidance Departments
- Provide School Leadership as part of the administrative team at the elementary school
- Collaborate with Student Services Team and administration to continuously reimagine, and improve services and interventions informed by ongoing needs assessment, data review, and innovation in the field
- Provide Leadership to the Student Assistance Team, identifying underdeveloped skills, antecedents, and related interventions
