This position will assist the Manufacturing Engineering team in all IE&A locations with the maintenance tasks listed below.

This position will assist the Manufacturing Engineering team in all IE&A locations with the maintenance tasks listed below.
Essential Functions
- Assist in design, line layout and movement, fabrication, installation of specialized tools, industrial equipment, and material handling devices used for manufacturing.
- Assist Employee Involvement teams with workstation design, fabrication, and implementation of manufacturing processes and improvements with an emphasis on ergonomics.
- Will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all manufacturing tools and equipment.
- Assist manufacturing engineers with audits, design, start-up and application of equipment, tools and facilities PM program.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be familiar with the operation and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools and equipment
- Previous weld, lift truck, and high lift applications experience required
- Must have plumbing and air system experience
- Must be mechanically inclined with experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings required
- Able to work and communicate with vendors/suppliers and co-workers
- Lockout/tagout certification is a plus
- Must have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, a self-starter and be able to work effectively with little supervision
- Proficiency in MVP is preferred
- Proven project management and facility skills are required
- Ability to set-up torque tools, and troubleshoot Smart tooling is preferred
- Red Tag and Hot Work Permit use is preferred
- 3D design and printing, as well as SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience is preferred
