The librarian is responsible for updating and monitoring the school library collection, which includes a wide variety of print and electronic materials that support classroom teachers' efforts to engage students in reading, research, and deepening their learning. The school librarian provides leadership and expertise in acquiring and evaluating information resources in all formats. The librarian organizes the collection and establishes procedures to provide students and staff with orderly access to the materials.
