Finish Worker/General Carpentry

-Employment type: Full Time

• -Pay: $18.50-$20.00 (starting out), Paid weekly on Fridays

-Shift: 8am-4pm Monday-Friday

-Core Duties:

• · Competency with measurements and hand tools
• · Ability to recognize and identify various power tools (impact driver, drill, Sawzall, etc.)
• · Willingness to climb ladders and safe practices throughout, willingness to be in tight spaces under houses and in attics
• · Willingness to learn new skills and bring any of your skills to the table with confidence
• · General safety knowledge when working around a construction site.

-Required Skills and experience:

• · Prior construction work experience required
• · Must have reliable transport and driver’s license
• · Citizenship or green card required for insurance purposes
• · Must be able to speak and understand English
• · General knowledge of use regarding power tools (impact drivers, drills, circular saws, miter saws, etc.)

-Preferred skills:

• · Any experience in the following:
• o Trim carpentry
• o Tile work
• o Drywall hanging and finishing
• o Framing carpentry
• o Installing flooring
• o Electrical
• o Decking
• o Electrical/ plumbing

-Physical requirements:

• · Ability to safely climb ladders
• · Must be physically able to lift reasonably heavy items
• · Must be able to remain standing for extended periods of time
• · Ability to remain in the sun for extended periods of time.

• -Special Notes: Generally our service area includes most of the tri-cities area, including Jonesborough, and Elizabethton. Special cases may require a further commute, but that is rare.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
