ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer & Vendor Communication: Maintain strong relationships with customer leadership and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery. Communicate efficiently via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Service & Maintenance Coordination: Assist in supervising refrigeration service and maintenance activities, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Refrigeration Controls Expertise: Strong knowledge of refrigeration controls to support troubleshooting and service operations.
- Refrigerant Conversions: Plan, coordinate, and oversee refrigerant conversions in supermarket applications, including on-site supervision of projects.
- Work Order Management: Review and manage work orders related to refrigeration and HVAC service, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Site Visits & Travel: Conduct site visits for refrigeration service assessments and walk-throughs as needed. Travel will be required based on customer needs.
- Project Scoping & Management: Develop scopes of work for refrigeration service and turnkey projects, estimate costs, and oversee project completion.
- Training & Development: Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attending trade events, etc.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Manager and field teams to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors degree is construction management, civil engineering, or similar field preferred.
- Universal EPA Certification highly preferred.
- 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration service required.
- Experience coordinating and managing refrigerant conversions in supermarket applications.
- Familiarity with refrigeration controls and troubleshooting.
- Background in reviewing and managing work orders for refrigeration and HVAC services.
- Experience in project scoping, estimating, and execution.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple service requests and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, refrigerants, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and industry-related software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
