What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Lead Generator position at Miller Connections?
About the role
Miller Connections is a growing multi-vertical sales organization seeking motivated individuals to support our lead generation efforts. In this role, you will use your own iPad or tablet to ping residential and/or commercial addresses within assigned territories, helping our sales team identify active prospects across our home security, fiber internet, and technology service lines. No cold calling required — this is a data-entry role.
What you'll do

- Flag active, inactive, or unverified addresses based on system response data
- Log results accurately and consistently into our CRM
- Complete assigned address batches within agreed-upon daily or weekly targets
- Communicate any technical issues or inconsistencies to your assigned supervisor promptly
- Maintain confidentiality of all prospect data in accordance with company policy
What we're looking for
- Reliable, self-directed individual who can work independently without daily supervision
- Comfortable navigating tablet-based platforms and web tools
- Detail-oriented with consistent, accurate data entry habits
- Available for a minimum of 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule
- Strong internet connection and a functioning iPad, Android tablet, or comparable device
- Prior experience in data entry, canvassing, or lead generation is a plus — but not required
Compensation & perks
- Competitive hourly rate or per-record pay — discussed during the interview
- Flexible scheduling — set your own hours within weekly targets
- Performance bonuses available for top contributors
- Opportunity for increased hours and advancement within Miller Connections
Requirements
- Must own or have reliable access to an iPad or tablet (iOS or Android)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to onboarding
- Must be comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099)
