Job Description:As a Quality Inspector at Miller Cat, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests at various stages of the manufacturing process to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. Your keen attention to detail and ability to analyze data will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence in product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control (QC) inspections at first article, in process and final production stages of raw materials, components, and finished good products to ensure adherence to our quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to verify product dimensions, specifications per blue print and component routing documentation.
- Document and report any non-conformities, quality issues, and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and root cause analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Provide training and support to production personnel on quality-related matters.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in QC and inspection processes within a manufacturing environment, preferably in industries where precision and accuracy are critical. Experience with sheet metal inspection is a plus!
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface plates, thread gauges, gauge pins, digital protractors, knowledge of GD&T and blue print reading.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and other quality management systems is a major plus!

Salary : $21 - $25
