Housekeeper

Position Summary 

The Housekeeper/Janitorial plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of both staff and visitors, janitorial will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in manufacturing facilities, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Must have previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning and the ability to work in a manufacturing safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize cleaning tasks in office and manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment, such mops, brooms, mop buckets, cleaning supplies, outdoor landscaping.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to respond to urgent cleaning situations in a timely manner.
• Clean driving record

Ability to walk, talk, hear, lift and carry cleaning supplies, trash bags often weighing up to 35 pound weight limit, safely transporting cleaning supplies, requires bending, stooping, and kneeling when cleaning low hard to reach areas, repetitive motion with hands, arms for sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.  Standing and walking for extended periods while performing cleaning duties throughout the day, exposed to high/low moderate noise in some areas of production as well high ambient temperatures.
