We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks.
We are looking for mature, responsible candidates. Cigarette Smokers need not apply as we have staff that are highly allergic. Those with prior felonies need not apply.

```Responsibilities:```
- Greet and prepare patients for their medical examinations
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care procedures, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and performing basic medical tests
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and handling patient registration
- Follow proper infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
```Requirements:```
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is highly desirable
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, and electronic health records systems
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques
- Familiarity with common medical procedures, including medication administration and specimen collection
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient service
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing healthcare practices
