We are currently seeking a Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to join a fast-paced practice. This hybrid position will be based in our Detroit office.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Attorneys with preparation and filing of employment-based Non-immigrant and Immigrant matters, such as H-1B, TN, E-2, L-1, PERM applications, Preference Petitions, Adjustment of Status Applications, and Consular Processing
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and initiative with regard to case assignments
- Troubleshoot and highlight potential issues for case analysis
- Maintain timely client contact
- Update case management software, monitor and track client status and filing deadlines
- Prepare RFE responses
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
The qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5-6 years of experience with complex employment-based immigration matters as a paralegal. At least 3 years of experience with PERM (all stages of the process) is required. Knowledge of INSZoom Immigration software is preferred. Some experience with family-based immigration is preferred.
