What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician position at Miller Brothers Automotive?
You Don't Have to Hate Where You Work to Consider Something Better.
Miller Brothers Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
If you're already working in a shop, turning hours, and doing well, we're not assuming you're looking for a job.
But would you consider a better opportunity?
What if you could earn $80,000–$120,000 per year, work Monday through Thursday, have every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off, and work for a company that believes taking care of its employees is just as important as taking care of its customers?
That's what we're offering.
What We Offer
- $80,000–$120,000 annual earning potential, based on skill and performance
- 4-day workweek — Monday through Thursday
- 3-day weekend, every week
- 100% employer-paid individual health insurance
- Dental insurance
- Paid time off
- Paid holidays
- Paid training
- Employee discounts
- Heated and air-conditioned shop
- Up-to-date equipment and diagnostic tooling
- Shop-provided specialty tools, including scan tools, A/C machines, and other specialty equipment

- Opportunity for advancement as our company continues to grow
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced technician who is comfortable diagnosing and repairing 2000 and newer domestic and Asian gasoline-powered vehicles.
Our ideal candidate has 10 years of professional experience, but years in the industry aren't everything. If you have at least 5 years of experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the drive to continue learning and developing your abilities, we want to talk to you.
Diagnostic ability is a must.
ASE certifications are preferred but aren't required on day one. We invest in training and expect our technicians to work toward obtaining the appropriate certifications after joining our team.
You'll need to provide your own toolbox, hand tools, and power tools. We provide the specialty and diagnostic equipment necessary to do the job correctly.
A valid driver's license is required.
The Kind of Technician Who Fits Here
Technical ability matters, but who you are matters just as much.
We're looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in doing the job correctly
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Takes ownership of their work and their mistakes
- Communicates well with the rest of the team
- Keeps their work area and equipment organized
- Is willing to help a teammate when needed
- Doesn't bring unnecessary drama into the workplace
- Doesn't cut corners to turn another hour
- Accepts feedback and wants to continue improving
- Wants to build a career rather than simply find another job
How We Run Our Shop
At Miller Brothers Automotive, Honesty, Integrity, and Professionalism come before everything else.
We believe in quality over rushing a vehicle out the door.
We want our technicians to have the equipment, information, training, and time necessary to diagnose vehicles properly and perform repairs they can be proud to put their name on.
We also believe good employees deserve to be taken care of.
That's why we've invested in benefits, paid training, a climate-controlled shop, modern equipment, and a four-day workweek that gives our team time to have a life outside of work.
We're growing rapidly, and our plans don't stop with one shop. As Miller Brothers Automotive grows, we intend to create opportunities for the people who help us get there.
Already Have a Good Job?
That's okay.
We're not asking you to leave a good situation just for the sake of making a change.
But if you're an experienced technician who takes pride in your work and you've wondered whether there's a shop where you could earn a great living, work four days a week, continue developing your skills, and be part of building something that's growing, we'd like to have a conversation.
You don't have to make a decision today.
Come talk to us and see if Miller Brothers Automotive might be a better fit for where you want to go next.
