Job Description
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Procurement Analyst serves as a primary interface from Global procurement for designated Tariff Mitigation and Supplier Risks projects.
- This associate has direct accountability for the execution, quality and results for the assigned projects.
- Ensures business needs are integrated into leveraged category spend with clear value proposition for the assigned business to execute on tactical sourcing.
- Engages Business, Operations and project team stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Works collaboratively with global category managers and procurement managers in driving leveraged commercial engagements and value.
- Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to close gaps, which may be related to supplier, processes or related commercial issues.
- Responsible for developing, quantifying and evaluating the transformation of internal and external information into business intelligence to support the strategic objectives of the procurement organization and drive operational excellence.
- Overall management and delivery of savings and value through implementation of category projects and strategies for the assigned projects.
- Lead and drive all procurement activities related to AAD tariff mitigation projects.
- Represents Procurement and is point contact in the Tariff Project team
- E2E sourcing execution to improve financial position through cost savings, cost avoidance and non-price value opportunities.
- Drive supplier risk mitigation project to minimize backorder and improve OTIF (on-time and in full delivery)
