Job Description
- The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate movement of products within the distribution center.
- Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment)
- Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
- Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site. Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
- Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
- Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas. Provide backup support when required.
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
- Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.
- Experience with Manhattan WMS, preferred.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
- Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
- Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
- General distribution knowledge.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong initiative and drive for results.

- Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE [Material Handling Equipment] in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
- The noise level is moderate to loud.
- There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations.
- Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
- This role may require a mandatory medical evaluation in compliance with client obligations under applicable occupational health and safety laws.
