Job Overview
Responsible for the efficient and effective performance of sampling, testing, and reporting test data results for incoming raw materials, chemicals, and in-process batches of compounds in strict conformance with Inspection Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures and GLP/GMP Regulations.
Responsibilities include sampling, inspection, testing, analysis of results, determining final disposition and detecting nonconforming conditions supporting the compounding and manufacturing of latex rubber medical devices.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Cleans lab supplies and glassware
- Creates label files from templates
- Assists with the removal and disposal of waste chemicals
- Creates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications
- Demonstrates the ability to follow complex, detailed instructions.
- Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures
- Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to work second shift
- Perform other laboratory related duties as required
- Must understand and adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Must understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Must understand and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Minimum Education/Experience:
- 1-year laboratory experience, AS degree in a scientific discipline. o BS degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology.
- Must be a team player and possess strong communication skills
- Must have a good attention to detail and integrity to work unsupervised.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task is required
- Must be proficient in English, Mathematics and Scientific Methods
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications is required
- Wet Chemistry, Viscometers, pH Meters, Titrations
- FTIR, GC, Weights & Measures
- FLAA, Atomic Absorption, Atomic Emission Spectroscopy
