We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with at least 8 years of hands-on experience, specializing in Lightning Web Components (LWC). Principal Responsibilities
The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Principal Responsibilities
- Architect, design and develop complex Salesforce solutions, including Apex and LWC development, org configuration, API development, and more to meet business requirements.
- Interface directly with end users to assist with requirements clarification/documentation and high priority issue resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to architect scalable and sustainable solutions that align with business needs and long-term goals.
- Conduct code and configuration reviews to ensure adherence to team standards, maintainability, and scalability. Perform quality assurance activities to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, conduct performance testing, and optimize Salesforce applications for optimal speed and efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with fellow Salesforce developers to help design the best possible technical implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and testers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Salesforce solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. Evaluate new technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improving existing solutions.
- Drive AI Innovation: Proactively research, propose, and prototype AI-driven solutions that enhance business processes, customer experience, or operational efficiency within Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Extensive experience in Apex class and trigger development. Knowledge of Apex design patterns.
- Expertise in Lightning Web Component (LWC) design and development, with a strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in declarative development using Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.
- Expertise in Salesforce org configuration, including security model best practices, dynamic forms best practices, and sObject design principles.
- Strong knowledge in general software engineering best practices and design patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce integration using REST and other APIs.
- Familiarity with the SF CLI, SF CI/CD practices, and development using Visual Studio Code with SF plugins enabled.
- Experience leading Salesforce deployments.
- Strong and effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop positive relationships with business partners and fellow developers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I and II, Salesforce Administrator) are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Feedback Management, Salesforce Digital Experiences (Communities) and best practices.
- Experience with JIRA, Conga Grid and Copado.
- Experience with integrating email applications with Salesforce.
- Strong UI/UX experience.
- Experience with AI tools and their integration into Salesforce workflows.
- Experience with additional technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, Tableau, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Track record of proposing or leading AI initiatives that resulted in measurable business impact.
- Experience working with front office business data and processes
- Strong Experience gathering user requirements and documentation creation.
