Millennium/Markon is seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow (SNOW) Scrum Master to support our customer in McLean, VA As a Senior SNOW Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in enabling and enhancing IC mission capabilities by blending agile principles, SNOW expertise, and leadership to deliver impactful, scalable solutions. An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required to be considered.
Responsibilities
Scrum Facilitation & Agile Leadership:
- Act as the Scrum Master for projects using the SNOW platform, enabling agile processes and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, roles, and best practices.
- Serve as a key facilitator for Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Optimize team performance, measuring velocity and managing team capacity to deliver defined goals and milestones efficiently.
- Collaboration with Leadership & Stakeholders:
- Work closely with senior IC leadership to ensure project alignment with organizational mission priorities and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate across contracting teams and project stakeholders to facilitate communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure cooperation between teams supporting other contracts.
Project & Risk Management:
- Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and performance objectives by managing risks, identifying potential blockers, and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with senior leadership, providing regular updates, project status reports, and metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
ServiceNow Expertise:
- Guide teams in implementing and expanding ServiceNow functionalities, ensuring the platform supports mission priorities effectively.
- Coordinate updates, enhancements, and new capabilities in the SNOW environment by synchronizing with technical teams and ODNI leadership.
Mentorship and Team Empowerment:
- Act as a mentor and servant leader, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration among team members.
- Provide coaching on agile principles and practices to team members, ensuring alignment and consistency across workstreams.
Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required to be considered.
- Minimum of 13 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years operating as a Scrum Master in an agile development environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Engineering, Business) or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in agile coaching, servant leadership, and Scrum Master roles within complex, dynamic environments.
- Ability to manage SNOW VTB boards (or equivalent tools) for tracking sprint progress, managing team workloads, and reporting metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with senior leadership, including IC executives, by presenting concise updates and facilitating strategic discussions.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across multi-contractor and cross-functional teams, resolving conflicts and aligning stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges, communicate risks, and align team efforts with mission goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) environments, directives, and mission workflows.
- Experience working in a consultative role across multiple contractor teams and understanding diverse enterprise priorities.
Salary Range
USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
