Overview
Millennium is currently hiring a full-time Assistant Shop Technician to support daily operations within our service and repair facility. This position is responsible for assisting with tool certifications, standard repairs, shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining organized work areas to ensure efficient shop operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform tool certifications and maintain accurate certification records and documentation
- Prepare tools for certification, including cleaning and organizing the work area
- Assist with tool disassembly, inspection, standard repairs, reassembly, and testing
- Document repair findings and track repair status
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming tools into the tracking system
- Package and coordinate outgoing shipments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily shop operations
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, mechanical, or shop environment is preferred but not required
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail for documentation and tracking
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Environment
Jobsite and shop work conditions include, but are not limited to:
- Position is based out of our Canonsburg Branch
- Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment as required by the safety director for personal protection.
