This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring satellite and mission operations from pre-launch through end-of-life, including developing procedures, configuring tools, and supporting operational readiness activities. Qualifications
- Experience with satellite operations, mission planning, or space systems engineering, including real-time monitoring and anomaly resolution.
- Familiarity with command and control systems, telemetry analysis, and operational tools used in space or defense environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to make sound decisions in time-critical situations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation of procedures, logs, and reports, and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with technical software tools and scripting or programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar) for data analysis and process automation is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work in an on-site operational environment, including occasional shift work, on-call support, or extended hours during critical mission activities.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or national security missions and eligibility to meet applicable security or clearance requirements is a plus.
