Physical Therapist – Inpatient
Location: Detroit, MI
Schedule: Wednesday–Thursday | 10-hour shifts
Start Time: Negotiable
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist – Inpatient to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy care to inpatient populations.
- Develop and work toward patient-centered goals using appropriate standards of practice.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
- Apply appropriate clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Provide care across a variety of age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Maintain effective verbal and written communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with 5 years of experience, OR
- Master's or Doctorate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Valid, unrestricted Michigan Physical Therapist license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience caring for patients across various age groups.

- 10 hours per day
- Start time is negotiable
