1. Strong Camel Quarkus Developer (Must Have)
- Hands-on experience with Apache Camel, especially Camel Quarkus
- Build integration routes using Java DSL or YAML DSL
- Good understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs):
- Routing
- Aggregation
- Idempotency
- Retry mechanisms
- Dead Letter Queue (DLQ)
Client wants someone who has actually built integration services, not just studied Camel.
Camel Quarkus is a framework that combines Apache Camel and Quarkus to build fast, lightweight, cloud-native integration applications.
Think of it like this:
- Apache Camel = A toolkit for connecting different systems (SAP, Oracle, databases, APIs, Kafka, FTP, etc.).
