Material Handling Supervisor
Job Title: Material Handling Supervisor
Location: Durham, NC

Summary
Millennium Print Group is seeking a Finishing Material Handling Supervisor to lead a shift-based team responsible for safe and efficient material handling in finishing and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing leadership experience, strong inventory control knowledge, and the ability to drive process improvements and team performance.
What You Will Do
- Supervise Material Handlers to ensure accurate movement of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and ERP/MES/WMS tracking.
- Enforce adherence to material handling procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
- Coach and develop staff to meet performance goals and foster engagement.
- Support Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Scheduling teams to ensure on-time production execution.
- Manage shift labor, daily assignments, and operational workflows.
What You Will Bring
- Proven leadership experience in shift-based manufacturing operations.
- Experience managing material handling and inventory control in a warehouse or production environment.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience; 2 years leading operational teams preferred.
- Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement training preferred, PIT certification a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP/MES/WMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise personnel and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
