Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Perform ultrasound/vascular/echocardiogram examinations
- Operate and maintain equipment
- Analyze and interpret imaging results
- Collaborate with medical team
- Maintain accurate patient records
Required skills and qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university in related field
- Active registration with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Valid Florida state license as an Ultrasound Technologist
- BLS certification
- Proficient in computer software (eRad, Athena, PACS, etc.)
- Ability to work independently
Preferred skills and qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of ultrasound experience; general and vascular required
- Echo experience preferred, but not required
- ARRT and/or RVT registered
- ACLS certification
