How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Complete patient intakes, vitals, histories, and medication reviews
- Assist with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing
- Perform EKGs, immunizations, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing
- Prepare and process lab samples
- Support triage, care coordination, and patient education
- Document in the EHR (Athena preferred)
- Schedule appointments, referrals, and authorizations
- Verify insurance and assist with prior auths and basic billing
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection‑control standards
- Provide professional, compassionate patient service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited MA program
- Active CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
- Current BLS certification
- 1 year CMA experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills and EHR proficiency
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
