How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Complete patient intakes, vitals, medical histories, and medication reviews
- Assist with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing
- Perform EKGs, immunizations, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing
- Prepare and process lab samples
- Maintain infection control and clinical room readiness
- Support triage, care coordination, and patient education
- Document accurately in the EHR
- Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and verify insurance
- Monitor supplies and maintain equipment
- Provide compassionate, patient‑centered service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited MA program
- 1–2 years of clinical experience
- BLS required
- MA certification required (AAMA, AMT, NHA, etc.)
- EHR experience (Epic, Athena, Cerner, etc.)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- EKG or phlebotomy certification a plus
