Product Development Coordinator – Pet Products

Job Overview

We are hiring a highly organized Product Development Coordinator to support new pet product development from first concept through final production. You'll keep projects moving, track details, and coordinate across internal teams and factory partners.

Responsibilities

· Assist with managing new product development from concept through production.

· Organize and maintain project files, specifications, samples, and development documentation.

· Track sample requests, revisions, approvals, and project timelines.

· Follow up with factory partners regarding sample status, artwork, packaging, and production milestones.

· Coordinate with the internal design team on product artwork and packaging needs.

· Gather and organize reference materials, competitive products, and development assets.

· Maintain project schedules, identify potential delays, and escalate issues when necessary.

· Provide regular project status updates to management and seek guidance as needed.

· Help prepare presentations, product summaries, and customer-facing materials.

Qualifications

· 2–5 years of experience in product development, sourcing, project coordination, or a related field.

· Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Comfortable working with overseas factories and cross-functional teams.

· Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.

Preferred Skills

· Experience with Adobe Illustrator, project management software (Asana, Trello, Airtable), or PLM/ERP systems is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
