Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Certified Medication Aide role based in Monmouth Junction, NJ. Responsibilities include assisting residents with medication administration, monitoring vital signs, supporting daily activities, and ensuring adherence to infection control protocols. The Certified Medication Aide will work closely with the nursing team to promote the safety, well-being, and comfort of all residents.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide
- Proficiency in administering medication and strong understanding of medication safety protocols
- Ability to measure and monitor vital signs and detect changes in residents' health status
- Knowledge of infection control practices and hygiene standards
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to providing high-quality care
- Previous experience in memory care or working with individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia is highly desirable
- High school diploma or equivalent education
