Automotive Painter
Millennium Luxury Coaches, a large and steadily growing Prevost converter located in Central Florida, is looking for an experienced automotive or aircraft paint technician, to join our paint department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong buffing and polishing skills
- Ability to spray a variety of paints and finishes
- Must have experience cutting and buffing polyesters, urethanes and acrylic clear coats
- Apply primer, top-coat paint, and any spray-applied coatings to detailed parts, sub-assemblies and major assemblies of vehicle exteriors to customer or company specifications and industry quality standards
- Polish and wax finished surfaces by cutting and buffing finished surfaces
- Familiar with and have operational knowledge of department tools
- Perform moderately complex to complex filling operations related to the cosmetic appearance of the part being worked
- Remove excess material and prepare the surface for finishing
- Perform masking operations
- Seek methods to cross train to develop technical skills and business knowledge
Experience:
Minimum 1 year
