Officials must have a strong understanding of game rules, be able to make quick and accurate decisions, and communicate clearly with players, coaches, and fellow staff. Physical fitness, mental focus, and emotional resilience are essential. Prior officiating or sports-related experience (player or coach) is preferred, and clinics will be held at the start of each season to prepare and certify officials.

Responsibilities
As a Sports Official, you will:
- Enforce all game rules and regulations to ensure fair play and participant safety.
- Start, stop, and manage the flow of play.
- Make judgment calls on infractions and apply appropriate penalties.
- Track and manage game progress (time, score, player conduct).
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with players, coaches, and other officials.
- Handle disputes, de-escalate conflicts, and maintain control of the game environment.
- Demonstrate impartiality, professionalism, and a thorough understanding of the sport at all times.
- Previous officiating experience or sports-related experience (coach, player, trainer).
- Ability to learn and apply sport-specific rules quickly.
- Strong communication and conflict-management skills.
- Physically able to meet the demands of the sport.
- Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
- Age 21 for Adult Sports
- Age 18 for Youth Sports
