Manufacturing-Field Technician

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing-Field Technician is responsible for supporting the production, testing, and installation of electrical control panels and related equipment. This hands-on role involves panel assembly, wiring, labeling, basic testing, and documentation support. The technician will also assist with logistics, including shipping, receiving, and off-site coordination with manufacturing partners. This position plays a key role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Panel build (mounting and wiring)
• Assist with shipping and receiving
• Print wire tags, terminal board tags, and panel tags, as required
• Off-site manufacturing interface to verify progress, enforce standards, transport parts and prints
• Basic test and inspection of manufactured equipment (on-site and off-site)
• Cable assembly (solder and crimp connectors)
• Collect and prepare documentation for instruction books
• Field installation, panel modifications/repairs
• Find ways to contribute to help the Company achieve short and long-term goals

What we need you to have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Basic understanding of electricity
• Experience Soldering and Crimping
• Operation of basic hand tools
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook)

What we’d love you to have:

• Two (2) years of professional electrical panel building experience
• Overhead crane and lift-truck license

Additional Information:

• Travel Requirements – 5 - 10% travel
