Job Description
SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include working with clients and a network of agents to facilitate the repossession of collateral. Maintaining accurate and up to date records on assignments and communicating that information to the necessary parties. Skip tracing for unit location information and initiating contact with consumers where permitted.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Foster and contribute to a positive working environment
▪ Communicate with client in a professional and timely manner.
▪ Partner with independent agents
▪ Making outbound and taking inbound consumer calls
▪ Adhere to talk-off requirements
▪ Meet performance expectations
▪ Conduct internet and database searches to identify best known address to locate customer collateral
▪ Maintain accurate and up to date notes in system of record
▪ Maintain compliance with related laws, regulations and industry best practices
▪ Initiate verbal contact with references as needed to identify or verify location
▪ Perform special projects as requested
▪ Assume additional duties as needed
COMPETENCIES:
▪ Extensive knowledge of customer service strategies and procedures
▪ Strong interpersonal communications skills
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
▪ Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
▪ Extensive knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, company's services
▪ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
▪ Roles at this level typically do not require a university/college degree but do require a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 or more years of related experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
▪ Comfortable handling high call volumes and exposure to dialer systems and warm transfer protocols. A minimum of three years of experience and knowledge of skip tracing technology (Accurint, Lexus Nexus, TLO, CLEAR) helpful.
Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment. Initial training will take place in-office, with ongoing in-office meetings as permitted based on the employee's location. Remote (if applicable) requires a quiet office space to ensure productivity and confidentiality. Regular video meetings with team members and management will also be required to maintain collaboration and communication. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
